Business Development
Parkwood Healthcare’s Business Development team is based in Thorley and Preston.
The team is headed up by Russell Francis and consists of Jamie Lane – Head of Research &
Development and a Business Development Manager. Our Business Development team is responsible
for winning contracts in existing business areas and new, dynamic business environments.
Russell and Jamie play a pivotal role in not only supporting Parkwood Healthcare as a
whole but also driving the business forward. The Business Development Team is dedicated to
working with local authorities and NHS trusts to help tackle health inequalities in the communities we live and work in.
The Business Development team focus on discovering feasible business opportunities and
preparing tender documents tailored to each client and their needs. They are responsible for
co-ordinating bids from expression of interest to tender submission. Furthermore, the Business
Development team conducts in-depth market research and analysis to enable Parkwood Healthcare to
stay abreast of changes in an uncertain, challenging industry sector.
