Within the Healthy Living Division Parkwood Healthcare Ltd is delivering three Health Trainer Services. The Services are funded by and delivered in close collaboration with the NHS Primary Care Trusts in Berkshire West, South East Essex and Leicester City.

In each area we employ teams of local people to reach out in the community for people at risk of unhealthy lifestyles. We provide support, encouragement, information, advice and referral to appropriate local facilities. We work with people who are striving to give up smoking, to lose weight, improve diet and take more exercise.

Our aim is to improve the health and well-being of local residents and reduce health inequalities
