NinA (Nurses in Ambulances) was launched in September 2005. We offer all grades of nursing staff, with a variety of specialist experience, for patient escort and support duties to ensure continuing safe and professional patient care.
Our NinA service offers further support for our clients and negates the requirement to release vital nursing personnel from the wards.
Following your request, our ambulance and nurse begin the journey from our control centre together to ensure excellent communication and teamwork. Following safe completion of the patient transfer, the nurse returns to the control centre with the ambulance to await a further journey request. In the event that you should wish the nurse to continue to assist the patient after the journey is completed, or if the journey is being undertaken in phases, it can be arranged for the nurse to remain with the patient.
We can accommodate any type of patient journey and have a regular dedicated pool of nurses on call at all times.
